Thoughts on leaving Antigua to move 'home' to Ireland
Dear Journaling Friends,
This is a bit of a heartfelt video pre-departure from Antigua. You can see all of my wrinkles! Apologies for the poor lighting and lack of editing, just keeping it real.
Two years in the Caribbean and twelve years with the same employer - this move to Ireland is a huge crossroads in my life. Ireland has been on my mind for a long time and I never thought I would be brave enough to make the jump. But here we are, at the edge of a cliff, and the only parachute we have is a house to move into (thanks Mum and Dad!) and our savings to feed and clothe us (warmly I hope!).
Click on the packing boxes below. What do you think? Are we making the right decision?
Before we leave Antigua I am sharing all of the designers and creative talents that I have interviewed on my previous blog Antigua Views. All of those stories are now here on the Garden of Poets Designer Pages and I am so excited to say that some of their products are available to buy in my shop. In the video above I'm sure you have already fallen in love with the pearl jewellery made by my friend Julie. In the shop there is a range of her gorgeous freshwater pearl and leather jewellery. Check it out here!
