Minimum Deposit Casinos in Ireland: Where €1, €5 and €10 Go Furthest in October 2026

The best way to test a casino is with a small deposit. A tenner, a fiver or even a single euro tells you how the cashier works, how the games run on your phone and, most importantly, whether the casino pays you back without a fuss. If it doesn’t, you’ve lost the price of a coffee rather than a week’s shopping.

This page covers the casinos with the lowest minimum deposits for Irish players, what you can and can’t do with a small balance, and the small print that catches people out. For the overall ranking, see my full list of Irish online casinos.

€1 deposit casinos

A €1 deposit is the cheapest possible way to look inside a casino. 22bet is the one casino on my list that takes €1 from every payment method, Revolut included. Jackpot City and Royal Vegas have run €1 first-deposit offers for Irish players, usually a batch of free spins, but check the sign-up page because the offer isn’t always shown.

What €1 gets you: a look at the lobby, a feel for the cashier and a few low-stake spins. What it usually doesn’t get you is the full welcome bonus, or a withdrawal. Most casinos set a higher minimum withdrawal, so a €1 balance that grows to €4 may not be withdrawable.

€5 deposit casinos

€5 casinos used to be common and are now rare. Where a casino does accept €5, it’s often only through certain payment methods, so check the cashier rather than trusting a banner. None of the casinos on my list advertises a general €5 minimum right now. If you want to stay under €10, 22bet is the option.

€10 deposit casinos

€10 is the standard minimum at most casinos I recommend, including PlayOJO, LeoVegas, 888casino and 10Bet. It’s also the amount that usually unlocks the welcome offer. PlayOJO is a good example: €10 gets you 80 free spins with no wagering, which is about as much value as a tenner can buy at a casino.

What a small deposit can and can’t do

What works on a small balance

  • Low-stake slots, many of which start at €0.10 a spin.
  • Free spins offers that only need the minimum deposit.
  • Testing the withdrawal process, as long as you clear the minimum withdrawal.
  • Live roulette at tables with low limits, which some studios run from €0.20 a bet.

What doesn’t

  • Most live blackjack tables, which start at €1 to €5 a hand and burn through a small balance quickly.
  • Multi-stage welcome packages that need several deposits to unlock.
  • Large progressive jackpots, where a tiny stake often doesn’t qualify for the top prize.

The best games for a small budget

A small deposit lasts longer if you pick the right games.

Low-stake slots

Many slots start at €0.10 a spin. Look for low or medium volatility games, which pay smaller amounts more often, so your balance doesn’t vanish in five spins.

Live roulette with low limits

Some live roulette tables accept very small bets, which makes them one of the cheapest ways to play live casino.

Blackjack with low table limits

Digital (non-live) blackjack often starts at €0.50 or €1 a hand, with a low house edge if you stick to basic strategy.

What to avoid on a small budget

High-volatility slots and bonus-buy features can swallow a €10 balance in a couple of spins. Save them for when you’ve decided you’re happy to take a bigger swing.

The small print on small deposits

These are the details that trip people up at low-deposit casinos.

  • Minimum withdrawals. If the minimum withdrawal is €20 and your balance is €15, you can’t cash out. Check this before you play.
  • Payment method minimums. A casino might accept €1 by card but ask for €10 by bank transfer.
  • Fees on small transactions. A few casinos charge a fee on small deposits or withdrawals. That fee can wipe out a €5 win.
  • Bonus minimums. The bonus often needs a bigger deposit than the casino’s general minimum.
  • Excluded methods. Paysafecard is handy for small deposits but can’t be used to withdraw, so you’ll need a card or bank account on file.

Budgeting with low deposits

Small deposits are a good habit, not just a way to test casinos. Decide on a weekly amount, deposit it once and treat it as the cost of the evening’s entertainment. Every casino on my list lets you set a deposit limit in your account settings. Set it the day you sign up, before you’ve had a chance to talk yourself out of it.

Minimum deposit casinos: your questions

What is the lowest minimum deposit at an Irish online casino?

€1. On my list, 22bet accepts €1 deposits with every payment method. Jackpot City and Royal Vegas have also offered €1 first-deposit deals to Irish players.

Can I get a bonus with a €1 deposit?

Sometimes. 22bet’s welcome bonus applies from €1, and some €1 offers give you free spins. Most full welcome packages need at least €10.

Can I withdraw winnings from a €1 deposit?

Yes, but only once your balance reaches the casino’s minimum withdrawal, which is usually €10 or more.

Which casino gives the most for €10?

PlayOJO, in my view. €10 gets you 80 free spins with no wagering, so anything you win is paid as cash.

Are low deposit casinos safe?

The deposit size has nothing to do with safety. Check the licence and the withdrawal terms exactly as you would at any casino.
