New Online Casinos Ireland: What’s Fresh and Worth Trying in October 2026

Every month a handful of casinos announce they’re “new to Ireland”, and every month most of them are a fresh coat of paint on a platform that’s been around for years. That isn’t always a bad thing. A new casino on a proven platform can be a good bet. What matters is knowing what you’re actually looking at before you hand over a deposit.

This page covers what’s new at the casinos on my list, what to make of the brand-new names arriving every month, and the checks I run before any newcomer gets near my ranking of Irish online casinos. It’s updated every month, so if a new arrival starts dragging its feet on payouts, you’ll see it drop off here first.

What “new” actually means at an Irish casino

When a site calls itself new, it usually means one of four things. Knowing which one you’re dealing with tells you most of what you need to know about the risk.

A brand-new brand

A company launches a casino from scratch, with its own name, design and bonus structure. These are the riskiest, because there’s no history at all. The licence and the people behind it are the only things you can check.

An established brand new to Ireland

A casino that has run in other countries for years opens its doors to Irish players. The track record exists, just not here. Check whether the Irish version has the same licence and the same payment options as the original.

A sister site

Many casino groups run several brands on one platform. 777 Casino and 888casino share theirs, as do Royal Vegas and Jackpot City. A new sister site gets the parent’s cashier and support from day one, which usually means fewer teething problems.

A relaunch

An existing casino rebuilds its site, changes its bonus system or moves to a new licence. It’s technically new, but you can look up how it behaved before the makeover.

How I vet a new casino before it gets listed

New casinos get every test I run on established ones, plus a few more.

  1. I look up the licence on the regulator’s register, not the badge in the footer, and check that the company name matches.
  2. I find out who owns it and what else they run. A group with a good record elsewhere is a good sign; a group with a list of closed casinos isn’t.
  3. I verify my account before depositing, and note exactly what the casino asks for.
  4. I deposit a small amount and request a withdrawal before touching any bonus. This is the single most useful test.
  5. I play for at least two months before listing the site. New casinos are on their best behaviour in the first few weeks.
  6. I read every complaint I can find on independent forums and check whether the casino answered them.

What’s new at the casinos on my list

Even long-running casinos keep changing. These are the updates that matter most for Irish players at the moment.

PlayZee: missions and levels

PlayZee’s game-show style rewards scheme sets you missions on different games and moves you up levels as you play. It’s the most active loyalty system on my list. The welcome package is worth up to €1,500 plus 150 free spins across several deposits, with a €20 minimum.

22bet: Revolut in the cashier and €1 deposits

22bet is still the only casino on my list that names Revolut in its cashier, and it takes deposits from €1. It’s licensed in Curaçao, which carries less protection than Malta or Gibraltar, so I’d treat it as a place for small deposits.

LeoVegas: a busier live casino

LeoVegas keeps adding live tables and game shows, and it now has some of the best evening coverage for Irish players. Its welcome offer is a 100% bonus up to €1,000 plus 200 free spins.

PlayOJO: no-wagering spins for new players

New PlayOJO players get 80 free spins with no wagering when they deposit €10. Anything you win is paid as cash.

Jackpot City: a low-deposit start

Some versions of Jackpot City’s welcome offer now start with free spins for a €1 first deposit, followed by matched bonuses worth up to €1,600 across your next deposits. Check which version the sign-up page shows you.

10Bet: a casino alongside the sportsbook

10Bet is best known for sports, but its casino has grown, and its 100% bonus up to €50 carries 30x wagering on the bonus only. That’s one of the fairest welcome terms around.

New casinos vs established casinos

New casinosEstablished casinos
Welcome bonusesOften bigger, to win you overMore modest, but stable
GamesNewest releases, modern lobbiesHuge libraries, sometimes dated design
Track recordNone, or none in IrelandYears of payouts to check
Payout reliabilityUnknown until testedUsually well documented
SupportCan be thin at launchEstablished teams and processes
RiskHigherLower

Neither is better across the board. A new casino is worth a small deposit if something about it appeals to you, like a feature, a game or a bonus. An established one is where I’d keep the bulk of my play.

New casino features worth looking for

The best new casinos don’t just copy what’s already out there. These are the features that make a newer site worth a look.

Quicker ID checks

Some newer casinos verify your identity automatically at sign-up using document scanning, so your first withdrawal isn’t held up waiting for someone to check a utility bill.

Open banking payments

Pay-by-bank options like Trustly move money straight between your Irish bank account and the casino, with same-day withdrawals and no card details to type in.

Cashback with no strings

A small percentage of every bet or every loss returned as real money, rather than as bonus credit with wagering attached.

Lobbies built for phones

The newest casinos are designed for the phone first, with search, filters and a cashier that work properly on a small screen.

Clear, short bonus terms

A new casino that explains its bonus in five plain sentences is telling you something about how it will treat you later.

Licences to look for at a new casino

LicenceWhat it means for youHow much weight I give it
Malta Gaming Authority (MGA)Strong rules, a formal complaints route and dispute serviceHigh
Gibraltar Gambling CommissionLong-established regulator with strict standardsHigh
UK Gambling CommissionStrict, but it covers British players, not Irish accountsLow for Irish players
KahnawakeLong-running regulator, fewer player protectionsMedium
CuraçaoLightest-touch regulation, limited help in a disputeLow
No licence shownNo protection at allDon’t deposit

Ireland’s own regulator has started licensing online betting, and online casino licences are expected to follow. Once they’re available, an Irish licence will be the one to look for first.

Red flags at a new casino

Close the tab if you see any of these.

  • No licence number in the footer, or a number that doesn’t match the regulator’s register.
  • No company name or registered address anywhere on the site.
  • A welcome bonus that looks too good, with wagering of 60x or more hidden in the terms.
  • Withdrawal limits of a few hundred euro a week, or “processing” times of seven days or more.
  • Bonus terms that can be changed “at the casino’s discretion” without notice.
  • Live chat that won’t answer a direct question about withdrawals.
  • Reviews that all appeared in the same week and all say the same thing.

How to try a new casino safely

A new casino can be good craic, but go in with your eyes open. This is how I’d approach it.

  • Set a deposit limit at sign-up, before the first bonus pop-up appears.
  • Verify your account straight away, so a withdrawal is never held up by paperwork.
  • Start with the minimum deposit and skip the bonus the first time.
  • Request a withdrawal as soon as you have something to withdraw, even €10, and time it.
  • Only increase your deposits once that first withdrawal has landed.

New online casinos: your questions

Are new online casinos safe for Irish players?

Many are, but they have no track record to judge them on yet. Check the licence on the regulator’s register, start with a small deposit and request an early withdrawal before you commit more money.

Do new casinos have better bonuses?

Often bigger ones, because they’re competing for attention. Bigger isn’t always better, though. Check the wagering, the time limit and the maximum bet before you claim.

How often do new casinos open in Ireland?

Several new brands open to Irish players most months. Only a few pass my tests, which is why this list stays short.

Is a casino that's new to Ireland the same as a brand-new casino?

No. A brand that has operated elsewhere for years has a track record you can check, even if it’s new to Irish players. A brand-new casino has none.

What's the safest way to try a new casino?

Verify your account, set a deposit limit, deposit the minimum without a bonus, and test a small withdrawal first.
