French Linen Bedding in Ireland

Somewhere between stacking the log basket and half past five, I sat down to a cup of tea and a biscuit. I was thinking about how it all began. Why linen? Why bedsheets?

Two things began this journey. First I started work on a superyacht in Sydney, Australia, which I followed up with several more years on yachts in the Mediterranean for the wealthy and famous. My job involved a lot of bed making and ironing sheets. I started to iron my own bedsheets at home - if I gave guests this privilege, why shouldn’t I enjoy the same?

Second, a darling French stewardess friend of mine posted a picture in the early days of Instagram, saying how she would never sleep in anything other than linen.

I sat upright. Linen? What was she talking about. We were immersed in a world of pure white wrinkle free cotton. Yet she so bravely lived this bohemian life of laid back luxe.

I wanted in!

It has taken a few more countries and a lot of searching, but I have finally settled on life in Ireland, and a business to sell those magical linen sheets.

The benefits of linen are many, bu ultimately include low maintenance, gentle care, hypoallergenic, temperature regulating and soft.
